An Autumn Surprise| Boohoo, Next & Smallternative

I love the colour palettes of Autumn fashion.  The deeper burgundy tones, the oranges, the blues and a glint of gold.  They all start to come out in wardrobes at this time of the year.

It can be easy to stick with fail safe blacks and creams, and ultimately they do still have their place, but that touch of colour certainly adds that fun factor.

So knowing I wanted to share something a little special with you all today, I had to find myself the perfect outfit to fit the occasion.

I love tulle skirts, I think they’re beautifully feminine but have that unique ability to be toughened up making it a more casual piece if needs be by selecting the right colour combinations.

So with a simple black Zara sweater, I knew this burgundy tulle skirt was exactly what I was after.  And it was a steal at £20.  Paired with some simple black shoes dotted with a bit of gold it jazzed up the outfit sufficiently but not in an over the top manner.

Of course if there’s a surprise, my little man is straight in on the action, so his hat and scarf set from Next were perfect for our Autumn surprise.

The rusty orange and blue combination is just so on point.  He actually picked the set out entirely by himself- I love it when he chooses something I love too.  Makes the decision to buy something so much easier 😉

Anyway, let us take you on an Autumnal stroll and reveal the surprise to you.

Yep, it all goes well, Little London will have a baby sibling who he currently refers to as “baby sister” (although we have no confirmation on gender, and even if it’s a boy I think he’ll call it baby sister until it gets an actual name on birth).  I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant, so baby London will be due in May 2017.

I have a few posts about my pregnancy up until now as it hasn’t been smooth sailing.  So keep an eye out for those.

Not sure if the world can handle another ‘beauty-a-LondonMum-heiress’ tho, but … another rugby player? – ooo yes, DEFINITELY!! (see what you can do eh haha?) … but either way, the world will be so much a better place when everybody welcomes the grand appearance of another regal member of the LondonMum dynasty.
